Pashmina refers to the cashmere wool of the Changthangi cashmere goat, from Kashmir and Ladakh region of Northern India. The word Pashm means "wool" in Persian, but in Kashmir, pashm referred to the raw unspun wool of domesticated Changthangi goats.
The wool is soft and non allergic for any kind of skin.
